HATE ETERNAL: New York City Performance Footage Available
May 6, 2008MetalKult.com has posted three new live tracks from HATE ETERNAL's recent New York City performance.
The footage was captured on April 28, 2008, when the Florida death metal giants played B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in support of the group's latest album, "Fury & Flames" (Metal Blade).
In the videos, see vocalist/guitarist Erik Rutan and the rest of his band rip through "Bringer of Storms" from "Fury & Flames", as well as "The Obscure Terror" from 2002's "King of All Kings" and "Behold Judas" from 2005's "I, Monarch".

As previously reported, J.J. Hrubovcak (VILE, DIVINE RAPTURE, RANDALL FLAGG) will fill in on bass for HATE ETERNAL's upcoming European tour, which is scheduled to kick off on May 9 in Wrzburg. The tour package also includes SKELETONWITCH and CEPHALIC CARNAGE.

HATE ETERNAL mainman Erik Rutan was interviewed a few weeks ago by Andrew Haug of Triple J's "Full Metal Racket" (based in Australia). Download the 16-minute audio file in MP3 format at this location (6 MB).
HATE ETERNAL's new album, "Fury & Flames" sold 2,300 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The follow-up to 2005's "I, Monarch" is said to be the band's most diverse and emotionally fuelled record to date, due mainly in part to the passing of bassist and good friend Jared Anderson.
